I was just passing through town when a friend recommended this place since he knew I lived BBQ. I order the small BBQ plate and even that was more than enough and more than most other places that holds back on the meat well not these guys!!
Silverware's is a local favorite of the Toombs Co. area. My go to is the always delicious and super filling BBQ Baked Potato. I usually get 2 meals out of one order. There BBQ is always consistent and you know your going to get this Southern favorite just as you remembered last time. Their sides are always fresh and tasty. I have even used them on several occasions for catering events and their portions are large and they are always on time with the deliveries. The owner is attentive and courteous as are the rest of the staff. Definitely give this place a try!
Loaded baked potato is delicious. The price & amount of meat you get is extremely reasonably priced. I eat there at least once a week. The staff are always very friendly. The owner is a great guy. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing! Passing through town and thought we'd try a local place for lunch. Drive Thru was a little tight for our F150 but we made it out with one of the best BBQ sandwiches I've ever had. Meat was perfectly sauced. We will be back!
Great barbecue sandwich and Sweet tea! It was around 9798° outside but we braved the heat and ate at one of their picnic tables. Staff was very accommodating, pleasant and professional. Can't wait for my next trip through to stop and try one of their loaded baked potatoes and some ribs!
This gem is off the beaten path in the little town of Lyons, GA. You see a silo, red building, and a wood shed behind it. The smell of smoked meat fills the air and my stomach signals me that I have found my next meal. The owner greeted me with a warm small town smile and handshake. I ordered the "World Famous" Loaded Potato. I was handed a clamshell box that weighed enough to be a sack of potatoes and small pig. I also grabbed a tub of his Oreo pudding. I sat down with my potato fit for a king and was blown away. My palate and stomach was extremely pleased as I slowly enjoyed this amazing meal. Kiddos to you sir at Silverwares you have served me the best barbecue meal I have found from here to Louisiana. Please take the drive to this place. It's well worth the family time you'll get in the car.
